Abstract Dopamine belongs to a group of compounds known as neurotransmitters. Disorders of dopamine metabolism are associated with many neurological diseases, such as Parkinson's disease. The main aim of the presented dissertation thesis is the development of monolithic stationary phases applicable to the chromatographic screening of diseases associated with dopamine metabolism-related disorders.
