Perception of the specifics of informal care in rural areas

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vnímání specifik neformální péče ve venkovských obcích. V teoretické části práce jsou popsána teoretická, empirická a metodologická východiska této práce. Cílem teoretické části práce bylo předvést a blíže popsat neformální péči v systému dlouhodobé péče, upozornit na důležitost rodiny v péči a v neposlední řadě charakterizovat venkovské obce a život v nich. Na teoretické poznatky dále navazuje výzkumná část práce. Výzkumná část měla za cíl zjistit, jaká jsou specifika neformální péče ve venkovských obcích a jak jsou pečujícími vnímána. Pro výzkum byla využita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie a metoda zakotvené teorie, sběr dat proběhl formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Tyto rozhovory byly dále zpracovány otevřeným kódováním. Získaná data byla následně vyhodnocena, reflektována s teoretickými poznatky a dále interpretována.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the perception of the specifics of informal care in rural municipalities. In the theoretical part of the work, the theoretical, empirical and methodological starting points of this work are described. The aim of the theoretical part of the work was to demonstrate and describe in more detail informal care in the long-term care system, to draw attention to the importance of the family in care and, last but not least, to characterize rural communities and life in them. The research part of the work continues the theoretical findings. The research part aimed to find out what the specifics of informal care in rural communities are and how they are perceived by caregivers. For the research, a qualitative research strategy and method of grounded theory were used, data collection was carried out in the form of semi-structured interviews. These interviews were further processed by open coding. The obtained data were subsequently evaluated, reflected with theoretical knowledge and further interpreted.
