Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována problematice hodnocení vlivu komplikací a komorbidit na délku hospitalizace, která spočívá v určení efektů jednotlivých vedlejších diagnóz. Tyto efekty ale nejsou jednotné, liší se zejména pro určitou hlavní diagnózu a pro další přítomné vedlejší diagnózy, kde celkový efekt vedlejších diagnóz není aditivní. Ten je posléze možné využít pro predikci délky hospitalizace určitého pacienta. V teoretické části práce byly popsány způsoby využití vedlejších diagnóz a metody, které byly v pozdější praktické části použity pro určení efektů vedlejších diagnóz.

Abstract:

This master thesis is devoted to the issue of evaluating the impact of complications and comorbidities on the length of stay, which consists in determining the effects of individual secondary diagnoses. However, these effects are not uniform, they differ mainly for a certain primary diagnosis and for other secondary diagnoses present, where the overall effect of secondary diagnoses is not additive. This overall effect can thus be used to predict the length of stay of a particular patient. In the theoretical part of the work, the ways of using secondary diagnoses and the methods that were used in the later practical part to determine the effects of secondary diagnoses were described.
