Requirements for Foreign Language Textbooks for Elder Learners
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with language education of elder learners and specific needs of participants of such education, which shall be taken into consideration while choosing a textbook. The thesis analyses two German language textbooks and examines if and to what extent these two textbooks account for the needs of elder learners.
Abstract:
Die Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Sprachenlernen im höheren Erwachsenenalter und mit den spezifischen Bedürfnissen, die bei der Auswahl von Lehrwerken berücksichtigt werden sollten. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit werden zwei Lehrwerke für Deutsch als Fremdsprache analysiert und es wird untersucht, ob und inwieweit diese Lehrwerke den Bedürfnissen der älteren Lerner entgegenkommen.
