The role of a radiological assistant during the radionuclide examination of the thyroid gland
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje představení štítné žlázy, popisuje její anatomii, fyziologii i patofyziologii. Je zaměřena na popis průběhu scintigrafického vyšetření štítné žlázy a úlohu radiologického asistenta při něm. Zabývá se také popisem přístrojů, přítomného záření a v neposlední řadě důležitou radiační ochranou.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the introduction of the thyroid gland, describes its anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. It is focused on the description of the scintigraphic examination of the thyroid gland and the role of the radiological assistant during it. It also deals with the description of the devices, the present radiation and last but not least with the important radiation protection.
