This Bachelors’ thesis deals with the influence of video games on the English pronunciation of native Czech speakers. In the theoretical part, the work is devoted to a short description of phonetics and phonology, systems of both Czech and English, typical pronunciation errors of Czech users of English, and the theory of video games and their implementation in education (game-based learning).
