Simulation of the speaker acoustic parameters built-in baffle

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší problematiku modelování zástavby reproduktorů definovanou zvukovodem a krycí mřížkou. Cílem bylo navrhnout model zástavby reproduktoru a validovat jej pomocí měření. Byl proveden teoretický výzkum chování krycích mřížek, jako \textit{n} dílčích zvukovodů o délce odpovídající tloušťce krycí mřížky. Byl zhotoven modifikovaný model reproduktoru na základě Thielle -- Small parametrů. Dále jsou předloženy tři modely zástavby reproduktoru, ze kterých dva vycházejí z aproximace viskózního proudění vzduchu mřížkou. Třetí model vychází z měřených dat na základě polynomiální regrese koeficientů filtrů. Závěrem práce je dána diskuze o realizaci, přesnosti a provedení modelů.

Abstract:

Loudspeaker installation is defined as a mechanical circuit attached in some way to the loudspeaker. Presented thesis is dealing with such circuits, mostly defined as a short tube with perforated plates attached to it. The loudspeaker installation examined in this thesis is trying to simulate loudspeaker installations used in the automotive industry. The goal pursuited by this research was to accurately simulate loudspeaker installation backed by the reference measurements. Three models were presented to simulate given accoustic circuit. Two of them were strictly based on the theoretical research and were somewhat vague in terms of accuracy due to many simplifications of the actual complex transitions inside the loudspeaker installation. Third and last one was based on the polynomial regression of the parametric filter coefficients. Results given by this metod were on point with the reference measurements. Also the loudspeaker model was presented to simulate the loudspeaker installation as a whole. The loudspeaker model was based on the Thielle -- Small parameters and was enhanced by the great deal of the correction filters. Towards the conclusion was given a discussion about the accuracy and possible modifications of the given models. Also points were presented to back the future work on this topic.
