This thesis is concerned with face detection in video records. The system developed focuses on human face detection by means of machine learning and PCA (Principal Component Analysis). Táto práca sa zaoberá detekciou tvárí osôb vo videozázname. Vyvíjaný systém sa zameriava na detekciu pomocou metód strojového učenia a PCA (Principa Component Analysis). Práca testuje niekoľko variantov. Každý z nich dosiahol chybovosť menšiu ako 1 %.
