Way of life - the life story of a man with disability.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá procesem socializace jedince se zdravotním postižením. V první kapitole teoretické části práce jsou objasněny pojmy postižení a jedinec s postižením, a uvedeny přístupy, postoje a předsudky společnosti k lidem s postižením v historii i v současné postmoderní době. Druhá teoretická kapitola se zabývá problematikou procesu socializace jedince se zdravotním postižením. Kromě vymezení pojmu socializace a její klasifikace uvádí socializační činitele, kteří se podílí na socializačním vývoji jedince, a také specifika procesu socializace jedince se zdravotním postižením v jednotlivých etapách jeho života. Třetí kapitola je věnována charakteristice dětské mozkové obrny, jejím formám, etiologii, přidruženým postižením a zvláštnostem ve vývoji jedinců s tímto postižením. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na demonstraci determinantů ovlivňujících socializační proces jedince se zdravotním postižením. Prostřednictvím analýzy životního příběhu sleduje vliv vnějších i vnitřních faktorů na socializační vývoj jedince se zdravotním postižením.

Abstract:

This work deals with the process of socialization of individuals with disabilities. In the first chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis explains the concepts of disability and individuals with disabilities, and the approaches, attitudes and prejudices toward people with disabilities in the past and in the present postmodern era. The second theoretical chapter deals with the process of socialization of individuals with disabilities. In addition to defining the concept of socialization and its classification provides socialization factors involved in the development of socialization of the individual, and the specifics of the process of socialization of individuals with disabilities in the various stages of his life. The third chapter is devoted to the characteristics of cerebral palsy, its forms, etiology, associated disability and peculiarities in the development of individuals with this condition. The practical part is focused on the demonstration of determinants influencing the socialization process of individuals with disabilities. Through the analysis of the life story explores the influence of external and internal factors on the development of socialization of individuals with disabilities.
