Práca sa zaoberá rozdielmi medzi filmovým a digitálnym médiom. Sleduje prechod z analógového formátu na digitálny a zaoberá sa pri tom technologickým postupom, zmenou obrazovej stránky (zjednodušením aj skomplikovaním vizuálnej stránky) pri prechode a dôvodmi prečo prejsť alebo neprejsť na novšie médium z pohľadu niekoľkých filmárov so zameraním na filmy Davida Finchera.
