Development and future of Boutique Hotels in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce na téma vývoj a budoucnost boutique hotelů v České republice je shrnutí aktuální situace na trhu malých boutique hotelů ve světě i u nás. Specifikace trendů které tento segment ovlivňují, poznatky ze sběru nejnovějších dat a zdrojů přiblíží globální situaci tohoto tak rychle expandujícího se trendu. Průzkumem situace globálního a domácího hotelového trhu a prokáže autorka jeho vývoj. Podrobnějším pohledem do segmentu boutique hotelů v České republice získáme přehled, jak se tento trh u nás vyvíjí, kam směřuje a jaký je předpoklad budoucího vývoje a trendů. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je na základě výzkumu vymezit a specifikovat segment butikových hotelů, analyzovat současný vývoj a jeho postavení v hotelovém tržním prostředí České Republiky. Pro to, aby byl naplněn cíl práce, je využito několik výzkumných metodik, které jsou blíže popsány v úvodu práce. Problematika spojená se strukturalizací tohoto segmentu, vstupem velkých hotelových korporací a expanze malých butikových hotelů do řetězců je podrobněji vysvětlena v druhé části diplomové práce. Návrhovou částí autorka se blíže věnuje jednotlivým problematikám, doporučuje řešení a vnáší osobní poznatky i zkušenosti.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis on the development and future of boutique hotels in the Czech Republic is a summary of the current situation on the market of small boutique hotels in the world and in our country. Specifications and trends that affect this segment, as well the research and findings from the latest resources and a data collection describing closer the rapidly expanding boutique trend. The author survey proves the situation of the global and domestic hotel market and his development. Due to detailed view into the segment of boutique hotels in the Czech Republic we get an overview of how this market is developing and what is the future trending. The main aim of the thesis is based on research to define and specify the segment of boutique hotels, globaly analyze current developments and its position in the Czech hotel market. To reach the aim author is using several research methodologies which are closely described in the introduction part of this diploma thesis. Issues associated with the structuralization of this segment, as well entering of large hotel corporations and branding expansion of small boutique hotels is explained more in detail in the second part of the thesis. The proposal and suggestion part of this diploma thesis has taking closer look into individual issues of this segment and the author recommend some solutions and is bringing personal knowledge and experience with.
