Deductive searching on portals under uncertainty

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou vyhledávání v prostředí portálových řešení s důrazem na efektivní využití neurčitostí, které se vyskytují v rámci procesu vyhledávání. Autor se v disertační práci zaměřuje na sestavení modelu vyhledávání v prostředí portálů s důrazem na identifikaci neurčitostí. Vlastní návrh modelu vychází z analýzy struktury portálových řešení a identifikace vágností, které se v jednotlivých komponentách portálů vyskytují. Nezbytnou komponentou práce je analýza současných technologií v oblasti vyhledávání z globálního hlediska. Jádro disertační práce je zaměřeno na návrh modelu vyhledávání o více vrstvách v podobě grafického schématu s detailním popisem všech vrstev tohoto modelu. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na implementaci algoritmů založených na fuzzy expertních systémech v oblasti uživatelského rozhraní. Autor v této oblasti řeší problematiku klasifikace uživatelem hledaných hesel vágními lingvistickými výrazy. Dále se autor zaměřuje na problematiku konstrukce pomůcek vyhledávacího rozhraní, které mají za cíl opravit nesprávný vstup či našeptávat relevantní hesla pro vstup. V této oblasti je práce zaměřena na modifikací algoritmů těchto nástrojů s tendencí posunout tyto algoritmy směrem k deduktivnímu odvozování. Na tyto oblasti logicky navazuje problematika hodnocení relevantnosti vyhledaných informačních zdrojů v návaznosti na jejich charakter.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of searching in an environment of portal solutions with emphasis on the treatment of uncertainties that occur in the searching process. The author of the thesis aims to build a model of searching in the portals environment with emphasis on the identification of uncertainties. The design of the model is based on the analysis of structure of portals solutions and identification of that occur in the individual components of portals. An essential component of the vagueness work is the analyze of the current technology in area of searching from global perspective. The core of the thesis is focused on the design of model of searching on multiple layers in the form of a graphic diagram with a detailed description of all layers of the model. Special emphasis is placed on the implementation of algorithms based on fuzzy expert systems in the area of user interface. In this area the author solves the issue of classification of searching passwords by vague linguistic expressions. Furthermore, the author also focuses on design of aids of searching interface that aim to correct an incorrect entry or to whisper the relevant passwords for access. Next, the work in area of aids for users is focused on the modification of algorithms of these tools that have a tendency to move these algorithms towards deductive derivation. Finally, all the mention issues are followed up by an assessment of relevance of sought information resources in relation to their character.
