Tato práce se zabývá popisem a vysvětlením pojmu inflace a možností monetární politiky k jejímu ovlivnění. Je zde definován pojem inflace a způsoby jejího měření. Dále se práce zabývá příčinami a dopady, které inflace na hospodářství má. Jsou zde také uvedeny příklady inflace z historie. This thesis deals with a description of term „inflation“ and methods of its measuring. Further on it deals with its causes and impacts which the inflation has on the economy of state.
