Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem legalizace marihuany, které je stále častěji diskutováno globálně na politické úrovni. Přesto však protidrogová politika není ovlivněna pouze politikou, ale zasahuje také do ekonomické, bezpečnostní a sociální sféry. Právě na těchto úrovních je analyzován přístup Argentiny a Uruguaye, dvou sousedních států, které mají odlišný přístup k této droze – v roce 2013 se Uruguay stala první latinskoamerickou zemí, která plně legalizovala marihuanu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of the legalization of marijuana, which is increasingly discussed at the political level, both nationally and globally. Moreover, specific drug policies are not related only to politics but also touches upon the issues of economic, security and social spheres. For the region of Latin America, the discussions on drug policies are critical in particular. In 2013, Uruguay became the first Latin American country to legalize marijuana fully. The specific approaches to the drug policies of Argentina and Uruguay are analyzed and compared in the presented thesis, doing so at all of the levels mentioned above.
