Comparison of TV programs with gastronomic themes and their impact on the professional and general public

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat jednotlivé pořady s gastronomickou tématikou a určit nejpřínosnější subžánr těchto pořadů pro gastronomii a dopad jaký mají na diváka. K řešení této otázky byla použita odborná literatura, statistika sledovanosti pořadů s gastronomickou tématikou České televize, vlastní dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na studenty Vysoké školy hotelové v Praze a řízený rozhovor s porotcem pořadu „MasterChef Česko“, šéfkuchařem Markem Fichtnerem. V práci je použita převážně metoda deskripce u identifikace jednotlivých gastronomických pořadů, práce dále vychází z historické výzkumné metody a dvou matematicko-statistických metod. Po analýze gastronomických pořadů ze zhlédnutí jednotlivých dílů těchto pořadů jsou na základě dominantních prvků vypracovány subžánry, ke kterým jsou následně rozřazeny vybrané pořady s gastronomickou tématikou. V práci se při naplnění cíle podařilo dosáhnout úspěšnosti 80 % a může se stát přínosem pro obor gastronomie. Práce dokazuje, který subžánr gastronomických pořadů je nejvíce přínosný pro obor a navrhuje, kterým směrem by se vývoj těchto pořadů měl v budoucnosti ubírat.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to analyze the individual programs with a gastronomic theme and determine the most beneficial subgenre of these programs for gastronomy and how they impact on the viewer. To address this issue was used literature, statistics, viewership statistics programs with gastronomic theme from Czech Television, a private survey focused on students of the University of Hospitality management in Prague and directed interview with juror of show "MasterChef Czech" the Chef Marek Fichtner. In study is mostly used the describing method for identifying individual gastronomic programs, study is also based on historical research methods and two mathematical and statistical methods. After analyzing the gastronomic programs from the views of the individual components of these programs are drawn subgenres based on the dominant elements of this programs, to which are then categorized selected programs with a gastronomic theme. The study achieved success rate of 80% in the fulfillment of the objectives, and it may be beneficial for the field of gastronomy. The study shows which subgenre of gastronomic programs is most beneficial for the field of gastronomy and suggests which direction the development of these programs should take in the future.
