Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na potenciál snižování emisí skleníkových plynů, zejména CO2 v železniční dopravě. Teoretická část práce poskytuje stručný přehled strategických a legislativních dokumentů EU v této oblasti, definici skleníkových plynů a aktuální stav železniční dopravy jak z hlediska vlaků nákladní a osobní dopravy, tak z hlediska infrastruktury. The diploma thesis focuses on the potential of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, especially CO2 in rail transport. The theoretical part of the work provides a brief overview of EU strategic and legislative documents in this area a definition of greenhouse gases and the current state of rail transport, both in terms of infrastructure.
