Mixing Dramaturgy of Audiovisual Work in Multichanell Formats

Abstract:
Cílem této diplomové práce je zmapovat vícekanálové formáty z pohledu technologie, zvukové dramaturgie a estetiky. Práce se zabývá historickým vývojem filmového zvuku, technickým přínosem jednotlivých technologií a mixáží jakožto finální činností při tvorbě zvukové složky audiovizuálního díla. Poslední část práce je věnována rozhovorům s českými zvukovými mistry a mixéry.
Abstract:
This master thesis explores multichannel formats from the perspective of technology, sound dramaturgy and aesthetics. The thesis engages in the historical development of film sound, technical benefits of individual technologies and final mixing. The last part shows interviews with czech sound designers.
