The global porcelain (china) market and the position of the Czech Republic at this market

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je analyzovat světový trh porcelánu a postavení ČR na tomto trhu. První kapitola obsahuje základní informace o porcelánu (charakteristika, druhy, využití a historie). Druhá část je věnována analýze světového trhu porcelánu. Jde o nejvýznamnější producenty porcelánu, komparaci světových a českých exportérů a postavení ČR z hlediska vývozu. Dále se věnuji cenám porcelánu a faktorům, které tyto ceny ovlivňují. Ve třetí kapitole se věnuji historickému vývoji českých porcelánek, typům porcelánu a jeho dekoracím. Poslední kapitola je věnována zahraničnímu obchodu ČR s porcelánem a jeho vývoji, konkrétně nejdůležitějším obchodním partnerům z hlediska vývozu a dovozu, a také strukturou obchodovaného porcelánu. V této části jsou zmíněné aktuální faktory ovlivňující porcelánový průmysl v ČR a dále jsou uvedena doporučení pro české porcelánky v otázkách vývozu a perspektivních trzích.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor‘s thesis is to analyse the global porcelain (china) market and the position of the Czech Republic at this market. The first chapter contains basic information about porcelain (characteristics, types, use and history). The second part is devoted to the analysis of the global porcelain (china) market. This includes the most important porcelain producers, the comparison of world and Czech exporters and the position of the Czech Republic in terms of exports. Next, I deal with porcelain prices and the factors that influence these prices. In the third chapter I deal with the historical development of Czech porcelain, its types and decorations. The last chapter is devoted to foreign trade of the Czech Republic with porcelain and its development, namely the most important trading partners in terms of export and import, as well as the structure of traded porcelain. In this part, the current factors influencing the porcelain industry in the Czech Republic are mentioned, as well as recommendations for Czech porcelain producers on export issues and prospective markets.
