Chateau Kunštát during the 18th and 19th century

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám barokní přestavbou kunštátského zámku a následnými úpravami exteriéru a interiéru v 19. století. V interiéru v barokním období vznikají v novém jižním křídle reprezentační místnosti – kaple zdobená výmalbou, zbrojnice a salon s nástropními malbami od Petera Strudela. Koncem 18. století reprezentační funkci přebírá klasicistně vyzdobený společenský sál a v druhé polovině 19. století je hlavní reprezentační místností rytířský sál. V průběhu 19. století dochází k úpravě okolí zámku, vznikají nové zahradní stavby a střelnice.

Abstract:

In my bachelor work I am focusing on the baroque rebuilding of Kunštát chateau and its subsequent exterior and interior reconstructions during the 19th century. New representative rooms - the chapel decorated by paintings, the armoury room and the saloon with paints by Peter Strudel, are growing in southern wing during this baroque period. At the end of 18th century the representative duties of these spaces were replaced by the common room which had been decorated in the classicism style. The main lounge of this chateau became the knights sale in the second half of 19th century. There was a lot of reconstructions of surroundings of the chateau made during the 19th century - the new garden buildings and the shooting-range.
