An orthographic system of the Old Czech Legend of St. Anastasia

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje analýze pravopisného systému Legendy o svaté Anastázii. Tato legenda je součástí svodu legend s názvem staročeský Pasionál. V teoretické části je naznačen její vztah vzhledem k latinské předloze, kterou je Legenda Aurea od Jakuba de Voragine. Je zmíněna doba vzniku Pasionálu a tedy i této legendy. V práci jsou charakterizovány dochované rukopisy staročeské Legendy o svaté Anastázii, přičemž největší pozornost je věnována analyzovanému rukopisu se signaturou XVII.D.8. Součástí teoretické části práce je dále popis pravopisných systémů užívaných v zápisech staré češtiny. V praktické části práce je nejprve proveden transliterační přepis na základě rukopisné předlohy. Další byl připraven přepis transkripční. Následuje analýza zápisu vokálů a konsonantů s komentáři. Poslední částí analytické části je uvedení některých zvláštností rukopisu.

Abstract:

The Bachelor Work concerns with the analysis of orthographic system of The Legend of Saint Anastasia. This legend is a part of allurements of a legend called The Old Czech Passional. In theoretical part of this work is hinted its relationship with respect to the Latin original, which is Legenda Aurea by Jacob de Voragine. It is mentioned period of Passional and thus also this legend. Surviving manuscripts of the Old Czech Legends of Saint Anastasia are described throughout this work, and the greatest attention is paid to the analyzed manuscript with the signature XVII.D.8. Further part of the theoretical part of this work is a description of the spelling systems used in old Czech registrations. Throughout the practical part of this work, transliteration based on the original manuscript is made first. Another transcript was made by transcription. Then follows an analysis of the minutes of vocals and consonants with the comments. The last part of the analytical part is an introduction of some peculiarities of the manuscript.
