The novels of Božena Benešová and Anna Maria Tilschová about the First World War
Abstract:
Diplomová práce je analýzou románů dvou spisovatelek první třetiny 20. století. Konkrétně jde o románovou trilogii Úder, Podzemní plameny a Tragická duha Boženy Benešové a o román Haldy Anny Marie Tilschové. Cílem práce je analyzovat postavy, motivy, prostor a čas a také jazyk jednotlivých románů a provést jejich stručnou komparaci.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the work of two female writers from the beginning of 20th century: The novels Úder, Podzemní plameny and Tragická duha by Božena Benešová and the novel Haldy by Anna Maria Tislchová. The main objective is to analyse the characters, themes, space and time, the language of the novels and also make a short comparison.
