The Causes of the Learners' Failure in Mathematics

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá příčinami neúspěchu žáků v matematice. Text této práce shrnuje obecné příčiny neúspěchu žáků ve škole. Zabývá se neúspěchem žáka a činiteli ovlivňující jeho neúspěch, jako jsou rodina, škola, učitel a žák. Dále se zmiňuje o obecných příčinách neúspěchu žáků v matematice. Věnuje se problémům v matematice, matematickým chybám, jazyku matematiky, koherencí učiva matematiky, abstrakcí, formalismem a dyskalkulií. A nakonec jsou specifikovány příčiny neúspěchu v některých tématech matematiky. Práce se zabývá chybami spojenými s Pythagorovou větou, geometrií, obvody a obsahy rovinných obrazců, povrchy a objemy těles, chybami vznikajícími při výpočtech v různých číselných oborech, při úpravě výrazů a při řešení rovnic.

Abstract:

This thesis is concerning with causes of failure of learners in Mathematics. The text of this thesis contains a common causes of failure of the learners at school. It deals with the failure of the learner and the factors which influence his failure, for example his family, his school, his teatchers and himself. Furthemore this text is about a common causes of failure of learners in Mathematics. The text applies to problems of Mathematics, Math?s mistakes, a specientific language, a coherency of curriculum of Mathematics, an abstraction, a formalism and a dyscalculia. And in the end there are the specifing causes of failure in some themes of Math. Thesis deals with mistakes, e. g. in the Pythagorean Theotrem, a geometry, a circumference and an area of the plane figure, an area and a capacity of organ, in a calculation in a different of numerical section, an adjustment of expresions and an equation salution.
