Flexible forms of employment, labor market flexibility and flexicurity

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "Flexible forms of employment, labor market flexibility and flexicurity" is based on the theoretical concepts of flexibility and security in the labor market.Thesis defines theoretical background of flexicurity in the EU countries,specifically in Danish and the Czech labor market. The thesis aims to describe the nature of the concept flexicurity – background of the name, philosophy of the relation of security and flexibility and implications of labor market policies. The analytical part of the thesis answers,on the basis of relevant indicators, the question: What are the differences in the performance of labor markets of Denmark and the Czech Republic on the basis of selected economic indicators and in terms of the three pillars of flexicurity? The conclusion describes the problem areas of flexicurity in the Czech Republic.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca “Flexibilné formy zamestnania, flexibilita pracovného trhu a flexicurity” vychádza z teoretických konceptov flexibility a istoty na trhu práce.V práci je teoreticky vymedzený koncept flexicurity v krajinách EU a špeciálne sa venuje dánskemu a českému trhu práce. Práca si kľadie za cieľ zodpovedať na otázku, o aký druh riešenia sa v prípade flexicurity jedná – čo znamená jej názov, aká filozofia vzťahu istoty a flexibility sa skrýva v pozadí flexicurity a aký druh politík implikuje. Analytická časť práce hľadá odpoveď, na základe relevantných indikátorov, na otázku: Aké sú rozdiely vo výkonnosti pracovných trhov Dánska a Českou republikou na základe vybraných ekonomických ukazateľov a z hľadiska troch pilierov flexicurity? Záver práce popisuje problematické oblasti konceptu flexicurity v Českej republike
