Migration and Asylum Procedures in the Czech Republic in 2015-2023

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována problematice migrace a jejímu vlivu na bezpečnost České republiky a jejích obyvatel. V teoretické části seznámí práce čtenáře se základními právními předpisy, na mezinárodní i národní úrovni, vztahujícími se k dané problematice, evropskou a národní migrační politikou a také s institucemi působícími v oblasti migrace. Praktická část je věnována současnému stavu migrace v České republice, způsobům řešení nelegální migrace, posouzení rizik, která migrace přináší a jejich vlivu na bezpečnost státu. Na základě detekovaných rizik migrace jsou navržena opatření k jejich snížení.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to the issue of migration and its impact on the security of the Czech Republic and its inhabitants. In the theoretical part, the thesis introduces the reader to the basic legal regulations, both at international and national level, related to the given issue, European and national migration policy, as well as to institutions operating in the field of migration. The practical part is devoted to the current state of migration in the Czech Republic, ways of dealing with illegal migration, assessment of the risk that migration brings and their impact on the security of the state. Based on the detected risks of migration, measures to reduce them are proposed.
