Práce podává obecný přehled postupů použitelných k automatické extrakci zastavěných ploch metodami dálkového průzkumu Země. Uvádí několik příkladů studií využívajících těchto postupů. Abstract:
The thesis gives general overview of remote sensing methods applicable in automatic extraction of built-up areas. It presents some case studies using these methods. Practical part of this thesis tests selected methods of extraction in area of Brno and its surroundings (use of spectral analysis, built-up area index, object classification) and offers evaluations, advantages and disadvantages.
