Fragility

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Křehkost“ je koncipovaná jako praktický umělecký výkon, doprovázený teoretickou studií. Práce je tvořena cyklem maleb na plátnech a papírech, zaměřující se na různorodou koncepci výrazu a význam křehkosti v uměleckém díle. Výstupem této výtvarné práce jsou digitální fotografie. Teoretická část má povahu doprovodného textu, jež vysvětluje myšlenkové předpoklady a prezentuje koncept díla. Dále se zabývá umělkyněmi, které já osobně vnímám jako autorky pracující s křehkostí. Předložená díla jsou inspirována především uměleckou tvorbou Marlene Dumas, Tracey Emin, Kiki Smith, Gerharda Richtera a Adrieny Šimotové.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „The Fragility“ is conceived as a practical artistic performance, accompanied by a theoretical study. The thesis is composed of cycle of paintings on canvases and papers, focused on the diverse concept in expression and the meaning of fragility in the artwork. The output of the work is digital photographs. The theoretical part is accompanying text, explaining the ideas and presenting the concept of practical result. Also it deals with artists who I personally see as authors working with fragility. The paintings are inspired mainly by the work of Marlene Dumas, Tracey Emin, Kiki Smith, Gerhard Richter and Adriene Šimotová.
