Occupational therapy in the patient after amputation of the lower limb

Abstract:

Úvod Dle mého názoru je ergoterapie u amputovaných pacientů dosti opomíjená, proto jsem chtěla tuto problematiku zmapovat a zjistit jaké možné metody se dají v této problematice využít. Cíl práce Popsat problematiku amputací a její možné příčiny, následně protetickou péči a koordinovanou rehabilitaci. Poté na toho téma vypracovat kazuistiku a ukázat způsoby ergoterapeutických intervencí u této problematiky. Metodika V teoretické části jsou popsané teoretické poznatky k tomuto tématu. V praktické části je zpracována kazuistika u pacienta, který je po amputaci. Bylo zde provedeno vstupní vyšetření na základě rozhovoru, měření, pozorování a testování. Dle výsledků byl stanovený krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán, poté bylo provedeno výstupní hodnocení a určen dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán. Výsledky Zde bylo porovnáno vstupní a výstupní vyšetření, kdy došlo k mírnému zlepšení některých oblastí. Závěr U pacienta se zlepšila soběstačnost a provádění ADL prostřednictvím invalidního vozíku.

Abstract:

Introduction In my opinion, occupational therapy in amputated patients is quite neglected, the refore I wanted to map this issue and look for possible methods in this problematic situation. Objective Describe the issue of amputations and its possible causes, followed by prosthetic care and coordinated rehabilitation. Then to elaborate a case report on this topic and show ways of occupational therapy interventions in this issue. Methods The theoretical part deals with theoretical knowledge of this topic. In the practical part there is a case study of a proband who is after amputation. There was an initial examination based on interview, measurement, observation and testing. According to the results, short-term occupational therapy plan was established, then an outcome evaluation was carried out and a long-term occupational therapy plan was determined. Results Here the input and output evaluation were compared. When some areas have improved slightly. Conclusion The patient's self-sufficiency and the implementation of ADL through a wheelchair have been improved.
