Working with Text in Early German Language Teaching: Supplementary Material to Textbook "Start mit Max 2"

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Práce s texty v rané výuce německého jazyka. Doplňkový materiál k učebnici Start mit Max 2“ pojednává o výuce německého jazyka na 1. stupni základní školy. Tato problematika je řešena ve dvou rovinách – teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část práce obsahuje přehled psychologických aspektů výchovy a vyučování, cílů, principů a prostředků cizojazyčného vyučování. Druhý oddíl teoretické části pojednává o práci s textem. Popisuje principy a funkci textů v cizojazyčném vyučování, kritéria jejich výběru, strategie čtení a typy úloh. Těžiště diplomové práce spočívá v praktické části, která má sloužit jako doplňkový materiál učebnice německého jazyka pro 1. stupeň základních škol „Start mit Max 2“, konkrétně okruhu „Es regnet, es regnet...“. Doplňkovým materiálem je myšleno 10 německých textů a návrh činností, jak s nimi ve výuce pracovat. Každý text s popisem uzavírají přílohy, které jsou pracovními listy k jednotlivým činnostem.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Working with text in early German language teaching. Supplementary material to the textbook "Start mit Max 2” deals with teaching German at a elementary school.This thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains summary of psychological aspects of teaching as well as the aims, principles and means of foreign language teaching. The second section of the theoretical part concerns the work with the text. It describes principles and functions of the texts in foreign language teaching, reading strategies and types of exercises. The key point of this thesis lies in the practical part, which shall serve as a supplementary material for german textbooks for the primary schools „Start mit Max 2“. To be more concret, it shall serve for the part „Es regnet, es regnet…“. The supplementary material contains ten german texts and a proposal of some activities for working with these texts during the lessons. Each text with description is ended by enclosures, which serve for working with each activity.
