My bachelor thesis focuses on Art Spiegelman's graphic novel Maus, which deals with the Holocaust. The thesis analyses how the survivor's story is told through the genre of the graphic novel and how the survivor's traumas have been transferred to the second generation. Abstract:
Má bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na grafický román Maus Arta Spiegelmana, který se zabývá holokaustem. Práce analyzuje, jak je příběh přeživšího vyprávěný prostřednictvím žánru grafického románu a jak se traumata přeživšího přenesly na druhou generaci. Práce se také zabývá způsobem, jakým se autor vyrovnává s pocitem viny přeživšího prostřednictvím vyprávění vlastního příběhu a příběhu své rodiny.
