Documentation of the scene of the traffic accident, focusing on total stations

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na dokumentaci místa dopravních nehod s důrazem na použití totálních stanic. V teoretické části práce je nejprve definována dopravní nehoda a popsány nejčastější příčiny těchto událostí. Dále je analyzován proces zpracování různých druhů dopravních nehod, včetně metod dokumentace. Praktická část práce je věnována porovnání manuálních a robotických totálních stanic. Jsou zde detailně popsány rozdíly mezi těmito technologiemi a jejich využití při dokumentaci místa dopravních nehod. V závěrečné části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky řízených rozhovorů s vedoucími pracovníky dopravních inspektorátů a soudními znalci specializujícími se na dopravní nehody. Dotazy směřující k využití totálních stanic jsou analyzovány a diskutovány s cílem zhodnocení přínosu těchto technologií pro efektivní a přesnou dokumentaci míst dopravních nehod. V závěrečné části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky řízených rozhovorů s vedoucími pracovníky dopravních inspektorátů a soudními znalci specializujícími se na dopravní nehody. Dotazy směřující k využití totálních stanic jsou analyzovány a diskutovány s cílem zhodnocení přínosu těchto technologií pro efektivní a přesnou dokumentaci míst dopravních nehod.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the documentation of traffic accident sites with an emphasis on the use of total stations. The theoretical part of the thesis first defines a traffic accident and describes the most common causes of these events. It then analyzes the process of processing different types of traffic accidents, including documentation methods. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to comparing manual and robotic total stations. The differences between these technologies and their use in documenting traffic accident sites are described in detail. In the concluding part of the thesis, the results of structured interviews with senior officers of traffic inspectorates and forensic experts specializing in traffic accidents are presented. Queries regarding the use of total stations are analyzed and discussed with the aim of evaluating the benefit of these technologies for efficient and precise documentation of traffic accident sites.
