This thesis is focused on differences in everyday over-the-phone interactions between Czechs and Germans. Tato práce se zabývá rozdíly v každodenní telefonické komunikaci mezi českými a německými participanty hovoru. Teoretické poznatky ze dvou vědních disciplín se týkají analýzy rozhovoru, která patří k jedněm z nejmladších vědních linií lingvistiky, a interkulturní komunikace.
