Anotácia:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá současným válečným konfliktem v Sýrii, který zkoumá pomocí analýzy cílů jeho hlavních vnitřních aktérů. Práce porovnává oficiálně proklamované cíle vybraných aktérů s jejich reálným konfliktním jednáním a snaží se pochopit jejich skutečné cíle a aspirace. Na základě zjištěných dat se práce pokouší posoudit, zda jsou tito aktéři k účasti v konfliktu motivováni náboženstvím, nebo nějakou formou racionálních, materiálních zájmů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the contemporary war in Syria, which is studied by an analysis of the goals of its main actors. The thesis compares the officially stated goals of the selected actors with their actual conflict behaviour and attempts to grasp their real goals and motivations. On the basis of related available data, the thesis aspires to assess whether these actors are motivated to take part in the conflict by religion, or by some form of rational and materialistic interests.
