Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou močové katetrizace a jejich komplikací. Teoretická část předkládá obecné poznatky týkající se močových katétrů, indikací, nevhodného použití, ošetřovatelské péče o pacienta se zavedeným močovým katétrem a možných komplikací, jako je například infekce močových cest spojená s katetrizací, inkrustace či uretrální poranění. The thesis deals with the issue of urinary catheterization and its complications. The theoretical part is focused on general findings concern urinary catheters, indications, inappropriate use, nursing care of a patient with urinary catheter and complications such as catheter associated urinary tract infection, encrustation or urethral trauma.
