The Analyses of the use of Kaizen philosophy in organizational management from the perspective of Czech Kaizen specialists

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vnímání Kaizenu v českém prostředí z pohledu odborníků. Základním cílem je odpovědět na výzkumnou otázku:” Jakým způsobem je vnímáno využití filozofie Kaizen při řízení organizace českými Kaizen odborníky?” Současně se také snaží o odhalení souvislostí a postavení Kaizenu v rámci firemní strategie a potenciálu v českém prostředí. V neposlední řadě také usiluje o zhodnocení možného využití Kaizenu také v různých oborech a velikostech společností. Práce je rozdělena na tři samostatné oddíly, které jsou zaměřeny na teoretické přiblížení tématu, kde jsou představeny nejdůležitější koncepty spojené s tématem, stejně tak jako historické počátky a zmapování situace v českém a světovém měřítku. Poté následuje metodologická část práce a v neposlední řadě také analytická část, která se zaměřuje na analýzu rozhovorů s jednotlivými odborníky a následnou reakci na zvolené výzkumné otázky. Hlavní výzkumnou metodou je analýza polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, které byly provedeny s několika vybranými odborníky působícími v daném oblasti.

Abstract:

Following diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the perception of Kaizen in the Czech Republic from the perspective of experts. The main aim is to answer the question: “How is perceived the use of Kaizen philosophy in the management of the organization by the Czech Kaizen specialist?” At the same time, I would also seek to discover position of Kaizen within corporate strategy and its potential in the Czech environment. Finally, it as well intends to evaluate the possible use of Kaizen also in various industries and company sizes. This thesis is divided into three separate sections, which are focused on the theoretical part of the topic, that presents the most important concepts related to the theme, as well as the historical origins and current situation in the Czech and worldwide. Then it is followed by the methodological part of the thesis and last but not least, the practical part, that focuses on the analysis of interviews with experts and subsequent. The main research method is the analysis of semi-structured interviews, that were conducted with several selected experts operating in following area.
