Abstract:
This doctoral thesis highlights currently employed biomarkers in endometrial cancer diagnostics, therapy, and follow-up. Several articles published during Ph.D. studies are incorporated in relevant chapters. We consider bleeding as the most important clinical symptom, notwithstanding it having no impact on patient prognosis. Ultrasound signs indicating uterine tumor risk are characterized.
