Segetal vegetation of intensively and extensively managed fields of the Ostrava region from the perspective of ecological requirements

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá ekologickými nároky segetální vegetace velkých a malých polí, která jsou brána jako intenzivní a extenzivní, a studuje vliv pesticidů na skladbu segetální vegetace. V červenci roku 2020 byly provedeny fytocenologické snímky na 30 polích s obilninami v okolí Ostravy. Pole měla identický typ půdy, klimatu i potenciální přirozené vegetace. Na lokalitách se vyskytovalo celkem 65 druhů plevelových rostlin. Pomocí Ellenbergových indikačních hodnot bylo zjištěno, že rozložení plevelů na velkých a malých polích je signifikantně ovlivňováno vlhkostí a světlem. Hypotéza, která předpokládá, že se na intenzivních (v této práci velkých) polích bude vyskytovat více generalistů ve vztahu ke stanovištním podmínkám, se potvrdila.

Abstract:

This study deals with the ecological demands of segetal vegetation of large and small fields which are considered as intensive and extensive and research the effect of pesticides on the composition of segetal vegetation. In July 2020 phytocenological relevés was analysed in 30 cereal fields near Ostrava. Fields had an identical type of soil, climate and potential natural vegetation. A total of 65 species of weed plants was occured in the localities. Using Ellenberg indicator values it was found that the distribution of weeds in large and small fields is significantly affected by moisture and light. The hypothesis of higher occurence of generalists in intensive (large in this study) fields in relation to habitat conditions has been confirmed.
