Ramman spectroscopy of uraninite from the deposits located in the eastern moldanubian zone

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá Ramanovou spektroskopií uraninitu. Soustřeďuje se na dva cíle. Jedním je stanovení metodiky měření uraninitu Rama-novou spektroskopií. V rámci tohoto cíle byly vymezeny nejvhodnější parametry (typ laseru, propustnost ND filtru, čas apod.) pro měření Ramanovým spektrometrem. Druhým cílem je experimentální analýza minerálu uraninitu. Všechny vzorky obsahovaly nespecifikované UxOy. Vzorek z Rožné velmi pravděpodobně obsahoval i metamiktizovaný coffinit a amorfní SiO2. Na vzorku ze Slavkovic byla rozlišitelná zonální stavba, kde se střídaly zóny s vyšší odrazností (vyšší obsah uraninitu) a nižší odrazností (nižší obsah uraninitu). Rozpraskané zóny měly vyšší spektrální intenzity než ostatní zóny.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with Raman spectroscopy of uraninite. It focuses on two objectives. One of them is to determine methodology of uraninite measurement with Raman spectroscopy. For this objective most suita-ble parameters (laser type, laser intensity, time, etc.) for Raman spec-troscope measurement were determined. The second objective is ex-perimental analysis of uraninite. All the samples contained unspecific UxOy. Sample from Rožná very probably contained metamict coffinite and amorphous SiO2. In sample from Slavkovice, zoned structure was distinguishable, where zones with higher reflectivity (uraninite en-riched) and lower reflectivity (uraninite impoverished) were alternat-ing. Cracked zones had higher spectra intensities than the other zones.
