Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o systému a smyslu propagace konkrétní venkovské oblasti Železných hor v České republice. Teoretická část popisuje samotný region, systém jeho marketingových aktivit, spolu se specifikací toho, co je to venkovská oblast, místní obchod, ochrana kulturního dědictví a další. Analytická část ukazuje výzkumnou analýzu za pomoci srovnání strategie regionálního rozvoje, strukturovaných rozhovorů, situační analýzy SWOT a PEST, a nakonec výzkum pomocí metody sociálně angažované fotografie. Závěr shrnuje význam propagace ve venkovských oblastech, její rezonance s místními obyvateli a způsob, jakým může lidské úsilí pomoci místní oblasti růst. To by mělo být užitečné a přenositelné do jakékoli jiné venkovské oblasti. Závěr práce také odpovídá výzkumnou otázku, která uvádí, že v letech 2010 – 2020 vzrostl v Železných horách zájem o hnutí Návrat k tradici.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis discusses the system and meaning of promotion of the specific rural area of the Region of the Iron Mountains in the Czech Republic. The theoretical framing part describes the region itself, a system of its marketing activities, together with the specification of what is a rural area, local trade, preservation of cultural heritage and more. The analytical part shows research analysis of comparison of the regional development strategy, structures interviews, SWOT, and PEST situational analysis and finally the research of socially engaged photography method. The conclusion summarizes the importance of promotion in the rural areas, how it resonates with locals and how the human effort can help the local area grow. This should be helpful and transferable to any other rural area. The conclusion of the thesis also answers a research question which states that the interest in the Back to Tradition movement has increased in the Region of the Iron Mountains within the years 2010 – 2020.
