Magic of Stained-Glass Windows
Abstract:
Vitráž je náročná, a přesto velmi krásná a jedinečná technika uměleckořemeslného zpracování skla, která se vyvíjela po staletí až do dnešních podob. Vitraje patří k okouzlujícím dílům středověkého umění. Největšího vlivu nabyly v gotické katedrále a věrně tlumočily vypjaté náboženské až mystické cítění středověkého člověka. Vznikaly spojováním kousků skla olovem do větších ploch.
Abstract:
Although difficult, stained glass is still beautiful and unique technique of handicraft glass process, which has been developed for centuries till nowdays image. Vitrails belong to magnificent medieval art works. They had the most severe impact in gothic cathedrals and truly interpreted intense religious and mystic medieval feelings.
