Wrist stabilization through physical therapy procedures

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je stabilizace zápěstí fyzioterapeutickými postupy. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První je část teoretická, v níž jsou obsaženy poznatky o anatomii a kineziologii zápěstí, nestabilitě zápěstí, jejím dělení a možných příčinách vzniku nestability. Také se věnuje vyšetření a možnostem využití fyzioterapeutických postupů pro stabilizaci zápěstí. Druhou částí je kazuistická studie, ve které byly vybrané metody aplikovány v terapii u pacientky s nestabilním zápěstím. Cílem práce bylo shrnout fyzioterapeutické metody vhodné pro stabilizaci zápěstí.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is wrist stabilization through physical therapy procedures. The thesis is divided into two parts. First, theoretical part contains information about anatomy, kinesiology, instability of the wrist and its possible causes. The first part also summarizes possibilities of the examination and methods of physiotherapy for stabilizing the wrist. The second part is a casuistic study, in which the chosen methods are applied to patient with wrist instability. The aim of the thesis was to summarize available methods of physical therapy suitable for stabilizing the wrist.
