Inventory optimization of a chosen enterprise

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou řízení zásob ekonomických subjektů. S využitím odborné literatury je v teoretické části popsána problematika zásobování, včetně klasifikace a ekonomických ukazatelů zásobovací oblasti v podnikové ekonomice. Jsou rovněž popsány vybrané modely teorie zásob. V praktické části jsou metodami operačního výzkumu analyzovány vybrané zásobovací aktivity lázní Darkov, a.s. Pro vybraná střediska organizace jsou navrženy vhodné modely řízení zásob podle složitosti zásobování, jsou zhodnoceny zásobovací aktivity a formulována doporučení ke zlepšení.

Abstract:

This Thesis focuses on the topic of inventory management in various economic entities. By utilizing the scientific literature, the issues of supplies, including the classification and economic indicators in business economics are described in the theoretical part. Selected models of inventory management are also presented. By using the methods of operational research, the empirical part of this Thesis analyses selected supply activities of the spa Darkov, Plc. For each selected centre of the analysed subject, a suitable model is designed, its supply activities are evaluated, and recommendations to improve the inventory management are formulated.
