Dialect in everyday communication of Šenov families

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá jazykem a jeho formami v každodenní komunikaci ve městě Šenov u Ostravy. Úvodní kapitoly obsahují geografické a historické informace o městě Šenově a také představení útvarů českého národního jazyka. Obsahem následující části jsou informace o slezské nářeční skupině. V praktické části jsou detailně přepsány rozhovory jednotlivých rodin, na nichž jsou následně zkoumány jazykové jevy v rovině zvukové, morfologické a lexikální. Na základě analýzy pak následuje shrnutí, ve kterém je uvedeno, kdo v komunikaci používá dialekt, interdialekt nebo hovorovou češtinu. Práce je doplněna o rozhovory s učiteli za účelem zjištění, zda i oni pozorují u svých žáků vlivy místního nářečí. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty formy jazyka užívané v každodenní komunikaci rodin v Šenově u Ostravy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with language and its forms in everyday communication in the town of Šenov u Ostravy. The introductory chapters contain geographical and historical information about the town of Šenov as well as an introduction to the forms of the Czech national language. The following section contains information about the silesian dialect group. The practical part presents detailed transcripts of conversations from individual families, which are then used to examine linguistic phenomena at the phonetic, morphological and lexical levels. The analysis is followed by a summary stating who uses dialect, interdialect or colloquial Czech in communication. The thesis is supplemented by interviews with teachers to find out whether they also observe the influence of the local dialect on their pupils. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the forms of language used in everyday communication by families in Šenov u Ostravy.
