Studies of poisonings with antidepressants in the Moravian region for the period 2001-2010

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou intoxikací antidepresivy u obyvatel Moravskoslezského kraje v období let 2001-2010. Zaměřuje se na rozdělení antidepresiv do jednotlivých farmakologických skupin a na počty intoxikací ve sledovaném období. Z celkového počtu vyšetřených vzorků biologického materiálu byla provedena analýza intoxikací z pohledu věku, pohlaví, daného časového úseku a jednotlivých generací antidepresiv. Závěr práce lze shrnout tak, že největší počet intoxikací byl ve věkové skupině 31-50 let u obou pohlaví. Dominující byla antidepresiva III. generace, která jsou indikována z důvodu své nízké toxicity a snášenlivosti.

Abstract:

Bachelor?s thesis follows up the issue of intoxication by antidepressants for period 2001-2010, at people, which lived in the Moravian region. This thesis is focused on distribution of antidepressants into pharmacological groups and also on number of intoxications in a given period. All tested samples were analysed from the perspective of age, sex, given period and specific generations of antidepressants. The conclusion of this thesis is, that the most intoxications were in the group of people agend from 31 to 50 years, both sexes. The antidepressants of 3rd generation were the most used due to their low toxicity and good tolerance.
