Housing as a picture of social change of the village

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem bydlení jako obraz sociální přeměny vesnic. Cílem diplomové práce je provést zhodnocení těchto proměn začínajících v letech 1989 a poukázat na dopady, které tyto proměny přinesly nejen obyvatelům vesnic, ale i celému venkovskému prostoru. Obzvláště významné jsou proměny vesnic z pohledu jejich legislativního ukotvení v rámci České republiky, proměny zemědělství na venkově a proměny obydlí obyvatel vesnic. Významný je také celkový náhled na diferenciaci tohoto prostoru ve sledované době. Informace k těmto i jiným oblastem byly získány rešerší odborné literatury, online zdrojů a vyhodnocením statistických dat. Neméně důležitá je i část diplomové práce věnovaná podpoře vesnic ze strany České republiky, Evropské unie a dalších jiných aktérů působících ve vymezeném prostoru. V praktické části byly stanoveny cíle, které se vážou ke zhodnocení některých oblastí života obyvatel obce Psáry – Dolní Jirčany. Zejména se jedná o oblast jejich spokojenosti s životem v obci, spokojenosti s lokalitou a o vztazích ke spoluobčanům. Dále je hodnocena úspěšnost jejího rozvoje a je zkoumána otázka, zda tuto obec lze považovat za vesnici. Vyhodnocení bylo provedeno na základě realizovaného dotazníkového šetření a osobního terénního šetření, které přineslo 235 responsí obyvatelů obce. Dále byly provedeny rozhovory s vybranými obyvateli obce a stejně tak byly použity informace z běžných rozhovorů, které autor diplomové práce se svými spoluobčany vedl. Pro získání dalších doplňujících informací byly zkoumány různorodé obecní dokumenty. Získané informace byly taktéž použity pro vytvoření pěti návrhů autora k rozvoji obce.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the topic of housing as a picture of social change of the villages. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate these changes that had begun in 1989, and to show the impacts how that these changes have affected not only the villages’ inhabitants, but also the whole rural area. The most significant changes from the point of view of their legislative anchoring within the Czech Republic have occurred in rural agriculture and physical transformation in village dwellings. The overall view of the differentiation of this area in the observed period is also significant. Information on these and other areas was obtained by searching professional literature, online sources, and evaluating statistical data. Equally important is also the part of the thesis devoted to the support of villages by the Czech Republic, the European Union, and other actors operating in the defined area. In the practical part, there were set goals related to the evaluation of some areas of life of the village Psáry - Dolní Jirčany inhabitants. In particular, it focuses on the satisfaction of the village life, and the satisfaction with the locality, and relationships with fellow citizens. Furthermore, the success of development of this village is evaluated. There is another question whether this community can be considered a village. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey, and a personal field survey, which yielded 235 responses from the inhabitants of the village. Furthermore, there were interviews conducted with selected inhabitants of the village, as well as information from informal interviews conducted by the author of this thesis with his fellow citizens. Various municipal documents were examined to obtain additional information. The information obtained was also used to create five proposals by the author concerning the development of the village.
