Adding Support for Bit-Vectors to BDD Libraries CUDD and Sylvan

Abstract:

Pridali sme podporu bit-vektorových operácií do BDD knižníc Cudd a Sylvan. Naša implementácia podporuje rovnaké operácie ako BDD knižnica BuDDy, ktorá už má implementované bit-vektorové operácie. Táto bakalárska práca bola napísaná s cieľom zlepšiť výkon SMT solver-a Q3B. Dúfame, že naša implementácia dovolí komukoľvek používať bit-vektory s knižnicami Cudd a Sylvan. Druhá časť zadania tejto práce boli testy, ktoré porovnávajú výsledky z našich implementácií oproti referenčnej implementácii z knižnice BuDDy. Vytvorili sme tiež unit testy pre našu implementáciu bit-vectorov v Cudd a Sylvan.

Abstract:

We added support for bit-vector operations into BDD libraries Cudd and Sylvan. Our implementation is supporting same operations as BDD library BuDDy that already implements bit-vector operations. This thesis was written in order to improve the performance of an SMT solver Q3B, but we hope that it will allow anyone to use bit-vectors with Cudd and Sylvan. Another part of this thesis are tests that are validating the results of these new implementations against the reference implementation from BuDDy. We created also unit tests for our bit-vector implementation in Cudd an Sylvan.
