Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá organizací dobrovolných hasičů z pohledu kooperace byrokratických a neformálních struktur. Odhaluje sociální identitu dobrovolných hasičů a snaží se tak přijít na to, kdo to dobrovolný hasič je, jaké jsou jeho úkoly, cíle a motivace. Na problematiku je nahlíženo ze tří základních úhlů. První nabízí pohled zvenčí prostřednictvím platných zákonů a vyhlášek České republiky, druhý se zaměřuje na sbor dobrovolných hasičů jako na občanské sdružení se širokou škálou aktivit, a třetí úhel poskytuje náhled zevnitř od hasičů samotných. Práce tak odkrývá, jak vedle sebe v rámci jednoho společenství lidí funguje formální byrokratická organizace a komunita. To poté přímo odhaluje role, ze kterých se status dobrovolného hasiče skládá. Ukazuje se tak, že dobrovolný hasič není jen záchranář a požárník, ale že v rámci sboru i celé obce zastává mnoho různorodých rolí od sportovce až po hlavního organizátora společenského života. Výchozím bodem práce byl kvalitativní výzkum u Sboru dobrovolných hasičů Velké Němčice. Zúčastněné pozorování u sboru a polostrukturované rozhovory s vybranými hasiči i hasičkami ukázaly, že k pochopení sociální identity dobrovolných hasičů je nutný pohled zvenčí i zevnitř současně.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of volunteer firefighters from the viewpoint of bureaucratic and informal social structures and their mutual cooperation. It reveals the social identity of volunteer firefighters and aims to define who a volunteer firefighter is and what his tasks, goals and motivations are. This issue is viewed from three basic angles. The first way of looking upon the issue is from the outside by means of applicable laws and regulations of the Czech Republic, the second approach to the issue focuses on the organisation of volunteer firefighters as a civic association with a wide range of activities, and the third angle provides an insight into the issue from volunteer firefighters themselves. Thus, my thesis reveals the coexistence between a formal bureaucratic organization and a community within the framework of one fellowship. This consequently defines the roles petraining to the status of a volunteer firefighter. It becomes apparent that not only is a volunteer firefighter a rescuer and a firefighter, but he also holds a miscellany of further functions within the organization as well as the whole community, ranging from that of a sportsman to that of the main organizer of the community life. The starting point of my thesis was the research in SDH Velké Němčice. First-hand observation of the fire brigade along with half-structured interviews of selected firemen showed that both inside and outside view is necessary for understanding the social identity of volunteer firefighters.
