Motivation for blood donation from the perspective of the general public.

Abstract:

Ve své práci se zabýváme motivačními faktory v oblasti dárcovství krve z pohledu laické veřejnosti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretickou část a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie a fyziologie krve a krevních složek, funkce krve, rozdělení krevních skupin a Rh faktor, laboratorní vyšetření krve, historie objevení krevních skupin a krevního oběhu, první pokusy transfuze a konzervování krve, dárcovství krve, podmínky dárcovství krve, rozdíly odběrů plné krve a krevních složek, možné komplikace odběru krve, výhody dárcovství krve, registr dárců krve a jejich úbytky, Světový den dárců krve a také Český červený kříž. V praktické části je popsáno, jakým způsobem probíhalo výzkumné šetření a výběr skupiny respondentů. Dále jsou v praktické části vyhodnoceny všechny otázky z dotazníku a předem stanovené předpoklady.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis we are focusing on motivation factors in blood donation from the point of view of general public. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part describes the anatomy and physiology os blood and blood components, function of blood, distribution of blook groups and Rh factor, la-boratory blood test, history of the discovery of blood groups and blood circulation, first attempts at blood transfusion and conservation, blood donation, conditions of blood dona-tion, differences in whole blood and blood components, possible complications of blood collection, benefits of donating blood, register of blood donors, loss of blood donors, World Blood Donor Day and also the Czech Red Cross. In the practical part is described, how the research examination was conducted and selection of the group of respondents. Furthermore, all the questions from the questionnaire and predetermined assumptions are evaluated in the practical part.
