Development trends of linguistic norms of the modern Russian language

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to identify trends in the development of standards of the contemporary Russian language. The first chapter is based on literary sources and its aim is to describe how language norms are formed and what currently causes them to change. The first chapter describes the following terms: language standard, functions and properties of a language standard, as well as types of language standards. Furthermore, the dynamics of change in the language standard is described, ie its variability. The second chapter focuses on the description of the main trends in the development and changes in the norms of contemporary Russian, as well as the description of the factors influencing changes on the morphological, syntactic, lexical and phonetic levels. Examples of standard variability are given and the reasons for its change are described. The final third chapter presents an extensive social research, which encompasses feedback from total of 50 respondents. The research was conducted among young and middle-aged people. The study helped identify the main trends and standards of language that people of different generations choose in their daily lives.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikace trendů ve vývoji norem současného ruského jazyka. První kapitola je založená na literárních zdrojích a její cílem je popsat, jak se jazykové normy utvářejí a co v současností způsobuje jejich změnu. V první kapitole jsou popsané tyto pojmy: jazyková norma, funkce a vlastnosti jazykové normy a také druhy jazykových norem. Dále je popsána dynamika změn jazykové normy, tj. její variabilita. Druha kapitola je zaměřená na popis hlavních trendů ve vývoji a změnách norem současné ruštiny a také popis faktorů, ovlivňujících změny na morfologické, syntaktické, lexikální a fonetické rovinách. Jsou uvedeny příklady variability normy a popsány důvody její změny. V závěrečné třetí kapitole je představen rozsáhlý sociální výzkum, jehož se zúčastnilo celkem 50 lidí. Výzkum byl proveden mezi mladými lidmi a lidmi středního věku. Studie pomohla identifikovat hlavní trendy a normy jazyka, které si lidé různých generací volí v každodenním životě.
