Implementation of Montessori elements into the education of the 1st st. ZŠ

Abstract:

Práce je věnována možnosti, jak zavést Montessori výuku, tedy spíše její dílčí prvky, do běžné výuky na 1. stupni základních škol. Pomocí pedagogického experimentu zjišťuje, zda implementace těchto Montessori prvků ovlivní celý výukový proces a následně pak výsledky edukace žáků. V teoretické části uvádí tato práce čtenáře do problematiky montessori výuky. Její historie nejen v zahraničí, ale i jejím vývojem a uplatněním v České republice. Zabývá se jak principy montessori pedagogiky, tak i připraveným prostředím, které je pro tento způsob vzdělávání jedním z hlavních bodů. Mapuje současný stav montessori mateřských, základních i středních škol v České republice. V praktické části najdete popis celého experimentu, který porovnává dvě skupiny žáků vyučovaných různými metodami. Jsou zde popsány výsledky experimentu, který byl vyhodnocen didaktickým testem, jeho statistickým rozborem a doplněn kvalitativním dotazníkem.

Abstract:

Diploma Thesis is focused on the possibilities, how to Montessori teaching, rather its some of the elements incorporated into regular teaching of primary school.The aim of the work was to use to pedagogical experiment to find out, how theses kind of implementations will affect the process of teaching and mastering school subject matter at the future. The theoretical part introduces you to the issue of Montessori teaching, its history in the Czech Republic and also abroad.It deals with the principles of Montessori pedagogy of a prepared environment, which is one of the main points for this way of education.At the end its also maps the current state of Montessori preschool education, primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic. In the practical part you will find a description of the whole experiment, which compares two groups of students taught by different methods. Here are described the results of the experiment, which was evaluated by a didactic test, its statistical analysis and supplemented by a qualitative questionnaire.
