State Interventions into Private Ownership in the Czechoslovakia

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout ucelený pohled na vlastnictví, včetně pokusu o vymezení pojmu vlastnictví, přehledu vývoje postojů k soukromému vlastnictví a důsledků, které měly realizované zásahy do soukromého vlastnictví na území Československa. Sledované časové období v této bakalářské práci je období od vzniku Československa v roce 1918 až po současnou dobu. Pro poskytnutí komplexního pohledu jsou v úvodu této práce zmiňována i období dávno minulá, která jsou však pro získání komplexního pohledu na vlastnictví a zásahy do vlastnických práv významná. V závěru práce je na příběhu konkrétní nemovitosti, počínaje její výstavbou, změnami jejích vlastníků, vyvlastněním až po navrácení dětem původních vlastníků, demonstrován průběh státních zásahů do vlastnického práva a dopadů, které tyto zásahy měly na celou rodinu. Pro zpracování této bakalářské práce byly kromě běžně dostupné literatury a informací použity dokumenty rodinného archivu a vzpomínky rodinných příslušníků.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive look at ownership, including an attempt at defining the concept of ownership, an overview of the changes in attitudes in regard to private ownership and the effects that the implemented acts of interference in regard to private ownership within Czechoslovakia had. The time period analyzed in this thesis is the period from the establishment of Czechoslovakia in 1918 until the present. In order to provide a comprehensive view, certain periods from the distant past are also mentioned in the opening of this thesis, as they are significant in order to acquire a comprehensive view of ownership and acts of interference in regard to ownership rights. In the conclusion of the thesis, the story of a specific real estate property is presented, starting with its construction, changes in its owners, expropriation, until its return to the children of the original owners, in order to demonstrate the course of government acts of interference in regard to ownership rights are demonstrated, as well as the effects that such acts of interference had upon the entire family. In addition to commonly available literature and information, documents from the family archive and the memories of relatives were used for the composition of this thesis.
